BADMINTON

Men's Format:

• The Men's Badminton tournament in IISM-2012 will take place as a team event. Each IISER can send one team comprising of a minimum of 2 players and a maximum of 4 players.


• There will be a best of 3 matches (2 singles and a doubles match) among the teams in the same group. One player is allowed to play a maximum of 2 matches specifically a Singles and a Doubles match. Order followed will be first singles, first doubles and second singles.


• The matches will be played in "3 Games of 21 Points" format.


• We will be following the rules incorporated by the present BWF (Badminton World Federation).

Women's Format:

• The Women's Badminton tournament will comprise of individual events of Women's Singles and Women's Doubles Tournaments.


• Each IISER can send a maximum of 6 singles players and 3 Doubles Teams.


• The matches will be played in "3 Games of 21 Points" format. We will be following the rules incorporated by the present BWF (Badminton World Federation).
